Head of Statistic of South Kalimantan Province Attends 62nd Anniversary Barito Kuala Regency

Marabahan – On Tuesday, January 4, 2022, Yos Rusdiansyah, the Statistic of South Kalimantan Province, accompanied by Najwa Dauli, the Acting Head of Statistic of Barito Kuala Regency, attended the invitation from the Barito Kuala Regency Government at the Palagan 5 Desember Field, which was filled with community members and invited guests for the 62nd anniversary celebration of Barito Kuala Regency. Before heading to the field, Yos Rusdiansyah took the time to chat with representatives from the regional governments of various regencies and cities across South Kalimantan.

The event commenced at around 10:00 AM WITA, following the arrival of South Kalimantan Governor H. Sahbirin Noor and Barito Kuala Regent Hj. Noormiliyani. The celebration opened with a carnival featuring recycled clothing and a marching band performance that captivated the audience. This was followed by remarks from the Barito Kuala Regent, highlighting the achievements and successes of the Regency.

Subsequent remarks were delivered by the Ministry of Environment and Forestry, represented by Rosa Vivien Ratnawati from the Directorate General of Waste Management, Hazardous Waste, and Toxic Materials. Following these speeches, a plaque signing ceremony was held for the construction of medical waste and hazardous waste processing facilities by the Ministry of Environment and Forestry. This facility will be built in Sungai Pitung, Alalak District, Barito Kuala Regency.

South Kalimantan Governor H. Sahbirin Noor, affectionately known as Paman Birin, also delivered a speech. He emphasized the discourse surrounding the relocation of the National Capital (IKN), which will position South Kalimantan as the gateway to the national capital. The anniversary celebration of Barito Kuala Regency concluded with a performance by Ian Kasela, the vocalist of the capital city band Radja.
