Head of the Statistic of South Kalimantan Province, welcomed the visit of the BI at the BPS office

Banjarbaru– Yos Rusdiansyah, Statistic of South Kalimantan Province, welcomed the visit and audience of the Head of the Bank Indonesia (BI) Representative Office for South Kalimantan at the BPS office on Tuesday, February 8, 2022. The meeting, held in the video conference room, was warm and friendly.

Imam Subarkah, Head of the BI Representative Office for South Kalimantan, was accompanied by his team, including Bimo Epyanto, Deputy Head of the Representative Office; Dadi Esa Cipta, Deputy Director/Economic Expert; Riza Putera, Assistant Director/Head of Regional Economic Study Formulation Team; and Adhi Nugroho, Manager of Data and Statistics Function. Yos Rusdiansyah was joined by Ahmad Mudzakkir, Head of the General Affairs Division; Najwa Dauli, Coordinator of the IPDS Function; Rismanto, Coordinator of Production Statistics; and Awang Pramila, Coordinator of Regional Balance and Statistical Analysis.

At the beginning of the meeting, Yos Rusdiansyah introduced his team and briefly presented the BPS program called "Desa Cantik" (Beautiful Village), which serves as a strategic data source to support BI's programs. He also discussed several activities currently being undertaken and planned by Statistic of South Kalimantan Province.

The Head of the BI Representative Office for South Kalimantan also provided remarks and comments during the visit. "Everything must indeed be dynamic and up-to-date," said Imam Subarkah, expressing admiration for the Integrated Statistical Services (PST) system demonstrated by one of the Statistic of South Kalimantan Province staff. He added that the data produced by BPS greatly supports BI's functions and activities, emphasizing the need for a more solid partnership between BI and BPS in the future.

The visit and audience concluded with the exchange of mementos in the form of plaques from both parties, followed by a group photo.
