Banjarbaru – Statistic of South Kalimantan Province Participates in Workforce Planning Assistance Event

The Statistic of South Kalimantan Province was represented by Ir. Nurul Sabah, M.P., Coordinator of Social Statistics Function, at the Assistance I for the Preparation of Workforce Plans (RTK) for districts and cities across South Kalimantan. The event was organized by the South Kalimantan Manpower and Transmigration Office on Wednesday, March 9, 2022, at the Novotel Hotel.

As one of the speakers, Nurul Sabah highlighted the availability and accessibility of employment data at the district and city levels through the official BPS website and the Integrated Statistical Services (PST). The employment data and statistical indicators provided by BPS, sourced from the National Labor Force Survey (Sakernas), can support the formulation of RTK for the policies, strategies, and implementation of sustainable employment development programs. He expressed hopes for collaboration and cooperation between BPS, government agencies, and the community to enhance employment data, especially in South Kalimantan.

Other speakers included representatives from the Employment Planning and Development Agency (Barenbang) of the Ministry of Manpower and the Provincial Development Planning Agency (Bapedda) of South Kalimantan, with attendance from representatives of 13 districts and cities in South Kalimantan. Following the presentations from several speakers, the event continued with a discussion. Rini Nurhayati, S.E., M.T., a Senior Planning Functional Officer from Barenbang Kemenaker RI, noted that the preparation of RTK predominantly requires data sourced from BPS. (Public Relations Team)
