79th Independence Day Ceremony of the Indonesia Republic at the BPS of South Kalimantan Province

The Statistic of South Kalimantan Province held a ceremony to commemorate the 79th Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia in the courtyard of the Statistic of South Kalimantan Province office. The ceremony was led by the Head of Statistic of South Kalimantan Province, Martin Wibisono, who served as the inspector of the ceremony. Statistic of South Kalimantan Province employees participated in the event, wearing traditional attire from various regions of Indonesia.

During the ceremony, Martin delivered a message from the Acting Head of BPS, Amalia Adininggar Widyasanti. In the message, it was emphasized that Statistic Indonesia-BPS must ensure the availability of key development indicators to meet the needs of the National Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMN), the Regional Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMD), and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Additionally, Statistic Indonesia-BPS must ensure that sectoral statistics adhere to the principles of One Data. Furthermore, Statistic Indonesia-BPS is expected to provide valuable insights from the data it produces to serve as a foundation for national policy-making.
