SE2026 Trial Results Evaluation Meeting

On Thursday, August 22, 2024, an evaluation meeting for the results of the 2026 Economic Census Trial was held at the Statistic of Barito Kuala Regency. The meeting was chaired by the Head of the Statistic of South Kalimantan Province, Martin Wibisono. Present at the event were the Head of the Statistic of Barito Kuala Regency, Toyib Nasikun, and the Head of the Statistic of Banjarmasin Regency, Sukma Handayani. Senior functional officers from the Statistic of Banjarmasin Regency, Raplihadi, and Abdurrahman from the Statistic of South Kalimantan Province, also participated in the event.

The purpose of conducting the 2026 Economic Census Trial was to:

1) Test the reliability of the business/company registration instrument (questionnaire);  

2) Test the procedures and organization for field data collection implementation;

3) Test the data processing procedures.

The 2026 Economic Census Trial activities in Statistic of Barito Kuala Regency were conducted in the villages of Jelapat I and Tinggiran II Luar, Tamban District.

In his speech, Martin stated that the results of this activity would serve as a foundation and reference for the implementation of the 2026 Economic Census.
