Focus Groud Discussion with Company Association for 2026 Economic Census Preparation

Banjarmasin - BPS South Kalimantan Province Holds Focus Group Discussion (FGD) on Company Data Collection Strategy

In preparation for the 2026 Economic Census, BPS South Kalimantan Province organized a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) on the development of a better company data collection strategy for the Central Office. The event was held at Hotel Galaxy, Banjarmasin, on October 9, 2024.

Key speakers at the FGD included Inspector of Region I of BPS Indonesia, Hanif Yahya, Head of the Provincial Development Planning Board (Bappeda) of South Kalimantan, Ariadi Noor, and the Head of the South Kalimantan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin), represented by Rizla Syahrianoor, SP, Chair of the Standing Committee for Sustainable Production Forest Management.

Through this FGD, BPS aims to gather input from companies and associations in South Kalimantan regarding the data collection process for the 2026 Economic Census.
