Field Supervision of Susenas by Head of BPS South Kalimantan in Banjarmasin City

Banjarmasin - Martin Wibisono, Head of the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of South Kalimantan Province, conducted field supervision of the National Socio-Economic Survey (Susenas) in South Banjarmasin District on Monday (19/2). This activity aims to ensure the smooth implementation of the survey and improve coordination between related agencies.

This activity was attended by the Head of BPS Banjarmasin City, Sukma Handayani, as well as the Susenas Team from BPS South Kalimantan Province and Banjarmasin City. In addition, several representatives from labor unions and wage boards participated in this activity, including Yudhi Erwanto as the Junior Expert Mediator of the Banjarmasin City Manpower and Transmigration Office, Suntin Yono as Deputy Chair of the DPS SPSI (All Indonesian Workers Union), Sudarsih who serves as Treasurer of the DPW FSPMI (Federation of Indonesian Metal Workers Union) South Kalimantan, and M. Iderus as Chair of the DPK APINDO.

The supervision conducted by the Head of BPS South Kalimantan also involved direct observation from the Disnakertrans team. In addition, a team from the Labor Union and the Wage Board also observed the implementation of Susenas in the field. It is hoped that through this activity, Susenas results can be more accurate and can be used as the basis for the formulation of socio-economic policies in South Kalimantan, especially in the labor sector and community welfare.
