Technical Discussion on Performance Indicators of Kemendukbangga/BKKBN and BPS South Kalimantan

Banjarbaru - The Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) of South Kalimantan Province, in collaboration with the Ministry of Human Development and Culture (Kemendukbangga) and the National Population and Family Planning Agency (BKKBN) of South Kalimantan, held a technical discussion meeting on Thursday, February 20, 2025, at the Video Conference Room of BPS South Kalimantan. The event was attended by officials and technical teams from both institutions and was moderated by the Head of General Affairs (Kabagum) of BPS South Kalimantan.

The discussion focused on the calculation of performance indicators and strengthening inter-agency coordination. Key issues covered included demographic trends, population projections, and challenges in family development. Additionally, coordination in the formulation of the Family Development Index (IPKK) was emphasized to ensure the accurate measurement of family welfare, resilience, and participation.

At the end of the meeting, participants agreed on the need for further synergy in the preparation of performance indicators and the creation of collaborative content. This initiative is expected to enhance data quality and support family development policies in South Kalimantan.
