"Your Smile, Our Happiness": Korpri BPS Kalsel Distributes ZIS Funds to Raudhatun Nasyi'in Orphanage

Banjarbaru – In the spirit of sharing during the holy month of Ramadan, Korpri BPS Kalimantan Selatan distributed Zakat, Infaq, and Sadaqah (ZIS) funds to the Raudhatun Nasyi'in Orphanage and Islamic Boarding School in Banjarbaru. The event, titled "Your Smile, Our Happiness", was attended by the Head of BPS Kalsel, the Chairman of the Board, the Head of the Religious Affairs Division of Korpri BPS Kalsel, and the leaders and students of the boarding school. The delegation was warmly welcomed by Ustadz Hendry Admaja, the head of the orphanage, who expressed his gratitude and emphasized that although the institution never actively seeks donations, continuous support from the community and various organizations continues to flow in.

On this occasion, the Head of BPS Kalsel also delivered a speech, highlighting that this social initiative is a regular agenda carried out by BPS Kalsel, especially during Ramadan, as an expression of compassion and solidarity. While the donation may not be large, it is intended to benefit the boarding school and orphanage, where future generations are nurtured and prepared for a better future. He also expressed hope that the students would remain motivated in their studies and continue to strive for excellence.

The event continued with the symbolic handover of the ZIS donation to the orphanage and boarding school. A warm and friendly atmosphere filled the moment as the BPS Kalsel delegation engaged in discussions with the institution’s management about the educational and welfare programs being implemented. This visit served as a tangible expression of Korpri BPS Kalsel’s commitment to supporting the education and well-being of orphans and underprivileged children.
