Abstract

The rice harvest area in 2024 is estimated to be around 240,644 hectares, an increase of 26,361 hectares or 12.30 percent compared to the rice harvest area in 2023 which was 214,284 hectares.

Rice production in 2024 is estimated to be 979,359 tons of GKG, an increase of 103,814 tons of GKG or 11.86 percent compared to rice production in 2023 which was 875,546 tons of GKG.

Rice production in 2024 for population food consumption is estimated to be around 579,465 tons, an increase of 61,424 tons or 11.86 percent compared to rice production in 2023 which was 518,041 tons.
