Population of Kalimantan Selatan, Intercensal Population Survey 2015 Result

The Intercensal Population Survey (SUPAS) is a population survey conducted between two censuses. Prior to SUPAS 2015, this survey activity had been carried out four times, namely, in 1976, 1985, 1995 and 2005. The objectives of implementing SUPAS2015 were to be able to estimate the number, distribution and composition of the population, to provide data on demographic characteristics and to calculate demographic parameters, as correction of population projection results 2010-2035, and as planning material and evaluating development programs. The data presented includes basic information on population, birth, death, population movements, housing and living conditions. In SUPAS 2015 the scope of the data is coupled with disability, mobility, urbanization and climate change. The information submitted includes the overall tabulation of characteristics of the population of the province of Kalimantan Selatan. The figures presented in this book are temporary figures and can be a reference for the presentation of other characteristics that will be carried out in stages.
