Executive Summary Rice Harvested Area and Production in Kalimantan Selatan 2021

Integrated Food Crops Agricultural Statistics Data Collection with Area Sample Framework Method (KSA) is an activity that is the result of collaboration between the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) with the Agency for the Assessment and Application of Technology (BPPT) the National Institute of Aeronautics and Space (LAPAN) which is now merged into the Research and Development Agency. National Innovation (BRIN), Ministry of Agrarian and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency (Ministry of ATR/BPN), and Geospatial Information Agency (BIG). This activity began to be implemented nationally in 2018 and is included in a national project to support the achievement of one of the national priorities, namely food security, in order to improve food statistical data. The main objective of this activity is to obtain an objective, scientific, and modern method of collecting data on rice harvested areas by involving the role of the latest technology, so that agricultural data, especially rice production data, can be collected more accurately, quickly and on time. The Executive Summary of Rice Harvested Area and Production in South Kalimantan 2021 provides brief information on the results of the implementation of the 2021 Rice KSA data collection. In addition, this executive summary also presents provisional figures for the harvested area and rice production for the January-April 2022 period based on the January 2022 KSA Rice data collection.
