Population Profile Analysis of South Kalimantan Province: An Intergenerational Population Overview

From 2012 to 2035 Indonesia is estimated entered the demographic bonus period with a peak period between year 2020-2030. However, the interprovincial picture presents a variety of things. Demographic bonus phase in South Kalimantan is estimated to reach its peak around the year 2030. This is indicated by the number of productive age population who more than double the number of children and the elderly. Amount large productive age population provides a source of labor, business actors, and potential consumers who play a major role in accelerated development.
