South Kalimantan is a province with the densest population density on the island of Borneo. Its unique location and diverse topography mean that the length of the road and the type of transportation used also varies. South Kalimantan Province also has a seaport which is the entry point for various goods and services for other provinces on Kalimantan Island. The statistical data for Land Transport, Sea Transport and Air Transport presented are the product of compilation of secondary data from agencies, regional apparatus organizations and institutions in charge according to their duties and functions.
