Thematic Analysis of the Population of South Kalimantan Province (Young Marriage Age and Fertility, Elderly and Health/Disability Problems, Migrant and Risen Workers and Development

Thematic Analysis of Indonesian Population is a publication of the Central Statistics Agency which presents analysis of the results of the 2020 Population Census Long Form data collection which is equipped with relevant supporting data sources. There are 3 (three) book series in the Thematic Analysis of Indonesian Population, namely Book I on adolescent fertility, maternal mortality, infant mortality and people with disabilities, Book II discusses migration and employment, Book III discusses the relationship between human development and regional development. In this series (Book II), it discusses 4 (four) themes, namely migration and development inequality, the profile of young immigrants, migration back home, and regional clusterization of Indonesian migrant workers. These four themes are relevant to regional development policies and strategies in the 2020-2024 Medium Term Development Plan (RPJMN) in increasing equitable development through increasing population and employment competitiveness. It is hoped that the availability of this publication will provide useful information for data users, especially for the government, in supporting the formulation of national and provincial socio-demographic and human development policies.
