Statistic Indonesia-BPS Prepares for an Intensive 2017 with Upcoming Training Programs
Banjarbaru – As 2017 progresses, Statistic Indonesia-BPS is gearing up for an increasingly busy schedule of survey activities. In anticipation of this workload, training programs for field staff are already underway across all surveys, including the Training for Prospective Regional Instructors (Inda) for the 2017 National Labor Force Survey (Sakernas 2017).
Held from January 17 to January 19, 2017, at the Fave Hotel in Banjarbaru, the Inda training event was officially opened by the Head of Statistic of South Kalimantan Province, Diah Utami, along with Head of the Social Affairs Division, Agnes Widyastuti, and Innas Sakernas 2017 representative, Vidya Nurina Paramita. A total of 15 Inda candidates from various districts and cities across South Kalimantan attended the session, which aimed to provide them with the knowledge and skills needed for effective survey facilitation and data collection.
In keeping with tradition, the training concluded with a role-playing exercise, allowing participants to apply what they had learned in a simulated field scenario. This approach reinforces the importance of accuracy and engagement in data collection.
As the year advances, Statistic Indonesia-BPS remains committed to high-quality data gathering for insightful policy development and planning.
