Collaborating in the Population Census

September marks the beginning of a new phase in Indonesia's journey to gather population data. The entire Statistic of South Kalimantan Province staff is actively involved in the Satu Pegawai Satu SLS (One Employee, One Neighborhood) initiative to support the census officers in collecting data. This effort is not just limited to the census officers; it engages all BPS employees in their respective local areas.

Taking the lead, the head of Statistic of South Kalimantan Province, Moh. Edy Mahmud, has also joined in assisting the census officers. Dressed in a census officer vest, along with a mask and face shield to comply with health protocols, Edy Mahmud, accompanied by the neighborhood chief, Koseka, and the Head of Social Statistics at Statistic of Banjarmasin Regency, conducted door-to-door visits to confirm the presence of residents.
