Head of Statistic of South Kalimantan Province Visits the Department of Food Crops and Horticulture

Banjarbaru – On Tuesday (March 8, 2022), Yos Rusdiansyah, the Head of the Statistic of South Kalimantan Province , paid a visit to the Department of Food Crops and Horticulture (TPH) of South Kalimantan Province. The meeting took place in the head of department's office and was marked by warmth and camaraderie. 

Syamsir Rahman, the Head of the TPH Department, welcomed Yos Rusdiansyah, accompanied by his team, including Imam Subarkah, Secretary of the Department; Edy Yosep, Head of the Food Crop Division; and Rahmawaty, Head of the Planning and Reporting Subdivision. 

In addition to fostering connections, Yos Rusdiansyah, accompanied by Rismanto, the Coordinator for Production Statistics, engaged in a relaxed discussion regarding strategic indicators, particularly those related to agriculture. During this opportunity, it was also mentioned that BPS is currently preparing for the 2023 Agricultural Census (ST2023). 

The Head of the TPH Department expressed enthusiasm for BPS’s initiatives in producing strategic indicators. He acknowledged the importance of agricultural indicators for the welfare of farmers and hoped for a strong synergy between BPS and the TPH Department. The meeting concluded with a group photo.
