HEAD OF KUKM SOUTH KALIMANTAN VISITS STATISTIC OF SOUTH KALIMANTAN PROVINCE

Banjarbaru – On Wednesday, April 6, 2022, the Head of the Cooperative and Small and Medium Enterprises Office (KUKM) of South Kalimantan Province, Gusti Yanuar Noor Rifai, along with his delegation, visited the office of Statistic of South Kalimantan Province. They were warmly welcomed by Yos Rusdiansyah, the Head of Statistic of South Kalimantan Province.

The meeting focused on preparations for the implementation of the Comprehensive Survey of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (PL UKM). Yos Rusdiansyah outlined BPS's role in the PL UKM activities in the region. BPS South Kalimantan is assisting by providing technical guidelines for recruiting officers, training, risk mitigation, and analyzing the data collected.

Rifai, as the Head of KUKM is commonly known, expressed his hope for full support from BPS, given its expertise in data collection. He noted that this activity is the first of its kind conducted by the KUKM Office. Therefore, ongoing communication between BPS and his office is crucial for the success of the PL UKM initiative.

Also present at the meeting were the Head of the Business and Product Marketing Division, Refiansyah; the Functional Supervisory Officer for Cooperatives, Arman Thaupani; and staff member Agus Setiawan. From BPS, attending were the Senior Statistician and Coordinator of Distribution Statistics, Fachri Ubadiyah, and the Junior Statistician and Sub-coordinator of Trade and Services Statistics, Rachmad Hidayat.
