Head of Statistic of South Kalimantan Province Visits FMIPA ULM to Strengthen Collaboration

Banjarbaru – In a bid to enhance cooperation and collaboration between BPS South Kalimantan and Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM), Yos Rusdiansyah, the Head of Statistic of South Kalimantan Province, along with his team, visited the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) at ULM on Tuesday, August 2, 2022.

Upon arrival, Yos Rusdiansyah was warmly welcomed by the Dean of FMIPA ULM, Abdul Ghofur, along with other faculty staff.

A significant manifestation of the collaboration between BPS South Kalimantan and ULM is the establishment of a Statistics Corner at the FMIPA ULM campus in Banjarbaru. This Statistics Corner provides substantial benefits for students and the ULM community, particularly for data users seeking to learn statistics in a comfortable environment. Additionally, the Statistics Corner aims to bring students closer to understanding the benefits of BPS data.

A key agenda item during the visit was the handover of certificates to the FMIPA ULM faculty. Yos Rusdiansyah presented a certificate and plaque to Dean Abdul Ghofur in recognition of the successful collaboration between BPS and ULM, followed by the presentation of a certificate and plaque from FMIPA ULM.

It is hoped that this meeting will further strengthen the partnership between BPS and ULM, providing mutual benefits for both parties.
