Sestama Inaugurates the New Office Building of Statistic of Banjarbaru City

Banjarbaru– Secretary General of Statistic Indonesia-BPS, Atqo Mardiyanto, along with the Deputy Mayor of Banjarbaru, accompanied by the Head of Statistic of South Kalimantan Province, Yos Rusdiansyah, and the Head of Statistic of Banjarbaru City, officially inaugurated the new Statistic of Banjarbaru City office building on Wednesday, June 8, 2022. The new office is located at Jl. Pangeran Suriansyah Ujung No.63. The inauguration event was also attended by representatives from the Regional Leadership Communication Forum (Forkopimda) of Banjarbaru, heads of vertical agencies, banking leaders, heads of BPS from districts and cities across South Kalimantan, and around 100 other invited guests.

The new building, which has been under construction since 2020, is now officially operational, replacing the old office building, which was situated on land owned by the City Government. The old building is still being used as a storage facility for documents.

Conveniently located near the city center and schools, in a busy area, it is hoped that the new building will boost the motivation and performance of Statistic of Banjarbaru City employees to produce high-quality data that supports the development of Banjarbaru and South Kalimantan. Additionally, the new building is expected to improve statistical data services for institutions and the general public in Banjarbaru.

During the inauguration, Secretary General Atqo Mardiyanto urged the staff to take good care of the new office, ensuring it is used efficiently and comfortably by maintaining cleanliness and a well-organized, green space.
