Banjarbaru – In an effort to improve performance and service quality for the community, BPS Statistics of South Kalimantan organized Harmoni Fest: Coffee Morning, which also served as a platform to socialize the results of the 2024 Organizational Culture Survey (SBO). The event took place in the Meratus Hall of BPS Statistics of South Kalimantan, attended by staff members as well as the Head and General Affairs Head of BPS Statistics of South Kalimantan.
The event featured two main speakers who presented on topics related to enhancing organizational culture and employee performance allowances. The first speaker, Ahmadi Murjani, a Senior Statistician, shared the 2024 SBO results. According to the survey, BPS Statistics of South Kalimantan received a “Fairly Healthy” rating, with the highest score in the Competence aspect. This result reflects that BPS employees possess strong expertise in their respective fields, alongside potential for further development in professionalism and relevant skills.
Organizational culture plays a vital role in achieving BPS's vision and mission. The 2024 SBO results not only depict the current state of organizational culture but also serve as a benchmark for aspects that need to be maintained and improved to create a more conducive and productive work environment. The high score in the Competence aspect indicates that BPS employees have strong expertise, although there is still room for improvement in other areas, such as collaboration, innovation, and employee well-being.
The second speaker, Robimanto, a Junior Human Resources Analyst, discussed the "Performance Allowance Reduction for Employees on Leave," based on BPS Regulation Number 3 of 2024. This topic is considered essential for all employees to understand, especially for those planning or currently taking leave within the year.
Harmoni Fest was not only a platform for survey results dissemination but also an opportunity to strengthen the sense of community and ownership toward BPS as a vital institution for national statistical data collection. In addition to the presentations, the event included an open discussion, providing staff with the opportunity to share feedback and ideas for developing a healthy and productive work culture within BPS.
With full support from all employees, BPS Statistics of South Kalimantan is committed to using the SBO results as a strategic foundation for planning and implementing Change Management programs in 2025.
