Head of Statistic of South Kalimantan Province Visits Three Regencies
Yos Rusdiansyah, S.E., M.M., the Head of theStatistic of South Kalimantan Province, conducted a working visit to three regency offices from March 21 to 23, 2022. The purpose of this visit was to strengthen relationships and inform local leaders about the rotation and changes in leadership within BPS at the regency and city levels.
During the visit, it was announced that the Statistic of Balangan Regency is now headed by Roy Suryanto, S.ST., M.P., who previously served as the Head of the General Subdivision at BPS Banjarmasin, replacing Dedy Winarno, S.ST., M.Si., who has been rotated to lead BPS Hulu Sungai Tengah Regency. Ahmad Mudzakkir, S.ST., M.E., the former head of BPS Hulu Sungai Tengah, is now the Head of the General Affairs Division at BPS South Kalimantan Province. Additionally, Agus Salim, S.ST., M.P., who previously served as the Sub-Coordinator for Planning Functions at BPS South Kalimantan, is now the Head of BPS Hulu Sungai Utara, succeeding Sukma Handayani, M.Si., who now leads Statistic of Tanah Laut Regency.
Yos Rusdiansyah and his delegation received a warm welcome from H. Supiani, S.Sos., M.Si., the Vice Regent of Balangan, during their visit to the Balangan Regency office; Drs. Khairussalim, Assistant for Government and Community Welfare, during their visit to the Hulu Sungai Utara office; and H. Aulia Oktafi Andi, S.T., MappCom, the Regent of Hulu Sungai Tengah, along with the Acting Secretary of the Region, Muhammad Yani, S.Sos., M.M., during their visit to the Hulu Sungai Tengah office.
During these meetings, Yos Rusdiansyah emphasized the importance of coordination and collaboration between BPS, as a vertical agency, and local governments. He expressed his hope for full support from each local government to ensure that BPS activities are conducted effectively. He also stressed that the data and indicators produced by BPS should provide maximum benefits for policy formulation. Additionally, he encouraged each head of BPS in the regencies to maintain and enhance relationships with local governments at all levels, from village to district and city.
Furthermore, Yos Rusdiansyah presented the 2022 County Statistical Yearbook to each local leader or their representative during the visits.
In between his working visits, Yos Rusdiansyah also took the opportunity to meet and support the staff at Statistic of Balangan Regency, Statistic of Hulu Sungai Utara Regency, and Statistic of Hulu Sungai Tengah Regency, providing performance evaluations in both technical and administrative aspects. "Show excellent performance and provide brilliant innovations for the advancement of BPS. I hope that all routine tasks continue to be executed to the fullest and synergize with the new leadership," he advised.
